I saw an ad for this today and couldn't believe what I read.
The copy was this:
"LIFE WITHOUT PASSION IS UNFORGIVABLE"
SeanJohn [in that swirly signature of his]
UNFORGIVABLE
THE FRAGRANCE FOR MEN FROM SEAN JOHN
How does copy like this help to sell the product? What the text is saying is, "We don't give a sh*t about what we do. Buy it anyway."

Maybe I didn't explain it well enough.
I see a syllogism here:
Life without passion is Unforgivable.
We named out product Unforgivable.
Therefore, our product is without passion (or at least the naming process is).
